Virus replication on SupT1 T cells and primary T cells. Cells were infected with a standard amount of the wt or mutant viruses (equivalent of 2.5 ng CA-p24 for SupT1 cells and 5 ng CA-p24 for PBMCs). CA-p24 production in the supernatant was monitored longitudinally. Representative replication curves are shown, but similar results were obtained in 3 independent SupT1 and PBMC infections
