Function assay of HIV-1 envelope recombinants with breakpoints in gp120 when entirely cloned into NL4-3 backbone. Parental HIV-1 isolates A91, A115 and D109 envs, and envA/D recombinants of A91/D109 and A115/D109 with breakpoints in gp120 region were cloned with the entire env sequences into NL4-3.
