TBC1D20 overexpression impairs proper HIV Env glycosylation. Extracts (100 μg of total protein) of 2 × 10⁶ 293T cells expressing HIV-1 Gag-Pol and JRCSF Env proteins, together with either TBC1D20, or controls (R105A or empty vector), were treated with ('+') or without ('-') EndoH (A) or PNGase F (B). Extracts were examined by Western blot analysis using anti-gp41 monoclonal antibody, to detect gp160 and gp41.
