Comparison of in vitro RAL susceptibility of HIV-2 N1-N3 and HIV-1 HxB2 INs. (A) A representative gel obtained for HIV-2 N1 IN-mediated strand transfer reaction in the presence of increasing concentrations of raltegravir. The ST reaction was performed using a 32P-labeled oligonucleotide mimicking the preprocessed substrate. Drug concentrations are indicated above each lane. (B) Susceptibility to RAL of HIV-2 INs. Strand transfer reaction was carried out for three hours in the presence of 200 nM IN and increasing concentrations of RAL. Activity is expressed as a % of control without drug. Experiments were repeated two times.
