From: Role of SUMO-1 and SUMO interacting motifs in rhesus TRIM5α-mediated restriction
SUMO-1 enhances rhTRIM5α stability in cells. A. HeLa cells stably expressing HA-rhTRIM5α were transfected with siRNA targeting SUMO-1 or a non-targeting siRNA. Cells were rested for 24 or 48 hours post transfection. Cell lysates were collected and analyzed by Western blot for SUMO-1, HA-rhTRIM5α and β-actin.
