The histone deacetylase inhibitor TSA potently relieves silencing of unintegrated HIV-1 DNAs in HeLa cells but only weakly in lymphoid K562 cells. Cells were infected with IN-D64A in the presence of TSA or DMSO. Flow cytometry analyses were performed 24 h after virus application.
