FUS inhibits activation from the HIV promoter by AFF4 and ELL. Cells expressing AFF4, ELL2 or both proteins were monitored for their ability to activate the HIV promoter in the presence or absence of FUS. Indicated concentrations of FUS expression plasmid were also used. Relative transcription corresponds to luciferase readings relatively to control cells that express the LTR-Luc - set to 1. Readings are representative of three independent experiments. The error bars represent mean ± SD from three independent reactions
