HSV-1 gD and gH/gL but not gB restricts the production of infectious HIV-1. 293 cells were co-transfected with either the empty pcDNA3.1(+) plasmid or plasmids expressing HSV-1 gD, gB, gH/gL, or  UL47 proteins and pNL4-3. At 48 h, the culture supernatants were collected.
