From: Inhibitors of the integrase–transportin-SR2 interaction block HIV nuclear import
Representative hit compounds inhibit single round viral replication. HeLaP4 cells were infected with 3.3 × 104 pg p24 of a single-round virus expressing the firefly luciferase reporter gene (Fluc) in the presence of 100 µM of one of the compounds. After 72 h, cells were lysed and the percentage inhibition of HIV replication compared to the DMSO control was measured.
