Bayesian phylogenetic tree of BLV env partial sequences from different geographical locations worldwide. A Bayesian phylogenetic tree was constructed from 35 distinct 475 bp BLV env sequences generated in this study, together with 74 sequences from known BLV strains, representing eight different BLV genotypes from other South American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay, and other parts of the world. Strains in the tree are indicated by accession number and country of origin. South American BLV strains from this study are marked by country of origin as follows: Peru (filled triangle), Paraguay (filled circle), and Bolivia (filled diamond). Genotypes are indicated by numbers around the circumference of the figure. Genotypes-1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, and -9 are shown in pastel blue, violet, sea green, blue, pink, twilight violet, avocado green, brown and orange, respectively. Numbers at nodes indicate posterior probabilities. The bar at the bottom of the figure denotes distance
