G run G I3 -2 is crucial for efficient virus replication in PBMCs. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells from two healthy donors were infected with NL4-3 virus or mutant derivatives with the indicated multiplicity of infection (MOI). Virus production was determined by p24-CA capture ELISA of cell-free supernatant collected at the indicated time points.
