MOV10 inhibits HIV-1 reverse transcription. (A) Domain structures of MOV10. MOV10 carries a CH-rich (cysteine/histidine-rich) domain in the N-terminal region and a helicase core domain in the C-terminal region. (B) The basic linker of NC (highlighted in yellow) interacts with the (aa 261-305) region of MOV10, which contributes to the incorporation of MOV10 into HIV-1 particles. (C) MOV10 diminishes HIV-1 reverse transcription either at the early or the late phase of the reaction.
