  1. For all infected samples and for all miRNAs measured with multiple replicates by quantitative PCR, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients were calculated and corresponding p-values were determined using XLStat. An alpha of 0.05 was considered significant; additional results that approached significance are also shown. miR-34a (**) was significantly correlated only when the elite suppressors were considered alone.
