^a Change in expression for indicated miRNAs was measured by qRT-PCR using Taqman probes in independent RNA preparations of HIV-1, RSS, ΔVV, and mock infected cells. Values for quantitative RT-PCR are derived from at least three replicate experiments, and expressed relative to mock. Relative expression differences were calculated using the ΔΔC_T method with efficiency correction and RNU48 as the internal control.
