Fold enhancement (in the presence of C') is shown for contemporaneous serum with early and late viruses. P values are derived from a two-tailed Student's T test assuming equal variance, based on the null hypothesis that the two means are equal. All but one of the later virus isolates (MM24.464) are enhanced to a level significantly greater than that of the early viruses when tested with paired contemporaneous serum.
