Affinity analysis of (α1,2-man) 3 , (α1,3-man) 2 , (β1,4-GlcNAc) 3 and GlcNAcß1,2Man with immobilized GNA maize and GNA. Serial two-fold analyte dilutions were injected over the surface of the GNAmaize- (Panels A to D)- or GNA- (Panels E to H)-bound sensor chip. These dilutions covered a concentration range from 7.8 to 1000 μM for (α1,2-man)3, and (β1,4-GlcNAc)3 (Panels A, C, E, G), 62.5 to 2000 μM for (α1,3-man)2, (Panels B, F) and 250 to 1000 μM for GlcNAcß1,2Man (Panels D, H). The apparent KD was calculated by steady-state affinity analysis. The curves represent a representative example of two independent experiments. The biosensor chip density was 7230 RU for GNAmaize (or 120 fmol GNAmaize) and 2455 RU for GNA (or 49 fmol GNA).
