Interactions of the ZAP mutants with the RNA exosome. 293TRex-ZAP mutant cells were treated with tetracycline to induce ZAP expression. CZAP429-myc was expressed by transient transfection into HEK 293T cells. The cells were lysed in the lysis buffer in the presence of 100 μg/ml RNase A. The proteins were immunoprecipitated with rabbit anti-hRrp46p (α-46) or pre-immune serum (PreS) and Western blotted with the anti-myc antibody (upper panel) or anti-hRrp46 antibody (lower panel).
