Release of HERV-K(HML-2) L-domain mutants in Tera-1 cells. Tera-1 cells expressing considerable amounts of HERV-K(HML-2) Gag were transfected with oriHERV-K113 or with the L-domain mutants indicated. RT activity in the supernatants was detected 48Â h post transfection and the data represent means and standard errors of an experiment performed in quadruplicate. The activity obtained with the wild type was set at 100%.
